Security Policies

We follow strict policies to protect our users' information. When you submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

What We Do to Protect Your Information
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information such as credit card numbers, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry – 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. While on a secure page, such as our order form, you will see the lock icon displayed by your web browser become locked, and you will see the first few letters of the web address (URL) in your browser window change from "http" to "https" when you are transmitting information protected by SSL encryption. The "s" in "https" stands for "secure."

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to regain access to your information. Finally, the computer that we store personally identifiable information on is kept in a secure environment at our Ann Arbor, MI headquarters.

What You Can Do to Protect Your Information
We recommend that you use the latest version of your browser software and download security updates for your browser and operating system as they become available. We also recommend that you only install software if you are certain it is from a trusted source. Be sure to log out of your account and shut down the web browser before leaving your computer, especially if you are using a public computer.

Email is not a secure form of communication. Please do not send us your credit card number or other personal information via email.
